Building Process

We manage the entire building process, from the initial design to delivering your finished project.

First Contact

The first contact allows us to discuss your building needs.  An F.E.V Mono Constructions representative can make an appointment to meet with you at your home, office or building site. 

We can provide you with an estimated construction cost within 48hours depending on the size of the project.

Plans

Your Plans

If you have your own set of plans for the proposed project we are happy to provide you with a quotation using those plans. 

Our Plans

If you would like to use our plan preparation service a fee would apply and is deducted from the contract price should you proceed. We develop a concept plan for your review incorporating your requirements from our first meeting. If you are happy with the concept plan and costs we then proceed to the next step.

Approval to Proceed

Once you have given us your approval to proceed we will prepare all the necessary fixed price contract documentation and an initial deposit will be required. We use the Housing Industry Association Contracts which outlines everything in detail.

Building Approvals

We arrange for all the necessary local Council Development, Sydney Water and Construction Certificate approvals and incorporate these fees into your original quotation.  If you wish to organise your own building approvals please let us know at time of quotation. 

Construction

Once all the necessary approvals, initial deposit and signed contracts have been received we can commence building your project.  Before we commence any works, we meet with you on site to explain the schedule and what occurs during the building process. Alterations to the building schedule can occur from bad weather or construction industry related issues beyond our control.

Project Completion

Our handover process at completion consists of a walk through with our qualified supervisor to ensure the work has met your expectations and the conditions of the signed contract. 

Maintenance Period

For total peace of mind we include a 90 day maintenance period from handover.
